Dresdner Zimmer reloaded
a pop-up workshop for design-oriented, regional craftsmanship
Dresdner Zimmer is a showroom and communication concept showcasing interior design from Dresden and the surrounding region. The examples of furniture and interior design on show come from various local craft and manufacturing companies, all of which share high standards when it comes to design and quality.
But Dresdner Zimmer strives to be more than a mere sales-boosting exhibition. The aim is to give old and new craftsmanship the attention and reach that it is at risk of losing among the global competition. There is a particular focus on the regional supply chain: not only should the exhibited products bear the names of companies from the area, but they should also be manufactured here.
The workshop at the DESIGN CAMPUS aims to give people the opportunity to talk about and assess the potential of a platform brand synonymous with regional, handcrafted products of the highest quality. What forms and types of interaction and partnership can help build a strong framework that connects people?
We want to discuss the answers to these questions with partners, customers and design lovers at a small visual showcase. And the DESIGN CAMPUS, as a forum of contemporary design, and the Museum of Decorative Arts of the State Art Collections Dresden, as a treasure trove of interior décor over the years, are the ideal partners and hosts.
Dresdner Zimmer RELOADED is an initiative by the Bisch-Chandaroff Werkstätten, together with the StephanPartner design studio.
